LabNora is a cloud-based production and order management software built for dental laboratories. It is operated by , a company established in Turkey, and delivered at app.labnora.com. Our customer is the dental laboratory business: laboratories use the product on a monthly subscription, while the clinics and dentists they work with use it free of charge. This page explains what we do, who we sell to, how the service works, how payment and cancellation are handled, our data security and data protection approach, and our contact details.
1. What LabNora is
LabNora is business software (SaaS) that lets a dental laboratory run its daily work from a single record. Everything from receiving the case sent by the clinic, through tracking production, to delivery and billing is kept inside the application. No installation, server or license file is required; the product is used through a browser at app.labnora.com, and a mobile application working with the same account is also provided.
The software is not a medical device and is not a diagnostic or treatment tool; it is business software that manages production and order records. It does not interfere with the prosthetic work the laboratory produces, it organizes the record, the workflow and the communication around that work.
- Order creation and status tracking: pending, in production, in try-in, completed
- Visual tooth and jaw selection across all 32 teeth
- Service catalog, price list and clinic-specific discounts
- A unique box code for every order, matching the physical case to the digital record
- Messaging, file sharing and intraoral photo sharing between clinic and laboratory inside the order
- Try-in steps and requests for missing or intermediate parts
- User roles and permissions: owner and employee separation
- Order-level pricing and a running account per clinic
- Access to the same data from the browser and the mobile application
2. Who we serve
Our customer is the dental laboratory business: a legal entity or a sole proprietorship. We do not sell to consumers and no account is opened for personal use. The payment obligation and the invoicing relationship exist only with the subscribing laboratory.
The clinics and dentists a laboratory works with use LabNora free of charge; no subscription or transaction fee of any kind is collected from them. A clinic account cannot be opened on its own, it is created through an invitation sent by the laboratory the clinic works with.
Laboratory registrations are reviewed and approved manually; approval is usually completed within one business day and is confirmed to the laboratory by email. An unapproved account cannot access the panel, and there is no anonymous use.
3. The problem we solve
A large share of dental laboratories still run their work through phone calls, messaging apps and handwritten job cards. In that setup the details agreed verbally get lost, it becomes unclear which case belongs to which dentist, deadlines stay verbal, and because prices and discounts are never written down, month-end reconciliation turns into an argument.
LabNora gathers this flow onto a single record. Both the laboratory and the dentist see the same history of the same order: who asked for what and when, which file was sent, and which stage the work has reached.
- One traceable order record instead of verbal and scattered order taking
- Box codes that match the physical case to the correct order
- Deadlines and delays made visible
- Prices and discounts recorded in writing, so month-end reconciliation rests on records
- Try-in and remake cycles tracked without getting lost
- The dentist can see the status of an order without calling the laboratory
4. How it works: the laboratory-clinic flow
The flow always starts with the laboratory. The laboratory sets the system up, defines its catalog and invites its clinics; a clinic only works with the laboratory that invited it.
- 1. The laboratory registers. Once the registration is approved, the panel opens and the free trial starts.
- 2. The laboratory defines its service catalog, its price list and any clinic-specific discounts.
- 3. The laboratory adds the clinics it works with by email invitation; the clinic opens its free account through that invitation.
- 4. The clinic or the dentist creates an order: patient details, tooth and jaw selection, shade, deadline, notes and, where needed, photos and scan files. Cases received by phone can also be entered by the laboratory itself.
- 5. The laboratory accepts the order; a unique box code is issued and the physical case is matched to that code.
- 6. Production stages are recorded. If a try-in is needed, a try-in step is opened, and requests for missing or intermediate parts are sent through the same order.
- 7. The work is delivered, the order is closed, and the fee is posted to the running account of that clinic.
- 8. Both sides continue to see the order history, messages and files on the same record.
5. What we sell: the subscription and how it is delivered
The only thing we sell is a monthly subscription granting the laboratory the right to use the LabNora panel. There is no physical product; there is no shipping, dispatch or delivery-to-address process.
The service is provided electronically and immediately. The moment a payment is approved, the relevant package becomes active on the account and the user can start using it right away. For this reason, items such as delivery time, shipping fees or tracking records are not part of the transaction.
Every newly registered laboratory starts with a free trial package, and no credit card is requested for the trial. The length of the trial and the number of days remaining are shown in the laboratory's own panel. No charge is taken automatically when the trial ends; to continue using the product the laboratory must choose a package.
6. Pricing, payment and cancellation
The subscription fee is quoted according to the size of the laboratory, the number of clinics it works with and its monthly order volume. Before the payment step, the period, the amount and the total are shown clearly in the panel; nothing is charged without confirmation.
- Prices exclude VAT. VAT at the applicable rate is added at the moment of collection, and the total payable is shown at the payment step.
- Payment is taken by credit card through the payment institution iyzico. Card details never reach LabNora servers at any stage; they are neither seen nor stored by LabNora. The card is entered on iyzico's own payment page and stored there.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. Renewal charges are taken through the card stored at iyzico.
- Cancellation is done in one step from the panel; no reason, form or conversation with a representative is required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, the service stays open for the remaining days, and no renewal charge is taken afterwards.
- An invoice is issued electronically after each successful charge and sent to the laboratory’s registered e-mail address.
- Refunds and withdrawal: because the customer is a commercial entity, whether the consumer right of withdrawal under distance selling rules applies, and whether a pro-rata refund is given for the remaining days when a subscription is cancelled mid-period, will be settled with legal counsel.
7. Data security
LabNora holds sensitive business data such as patient names, intraoral photos and order records. Two principles sit at the center of our security approach: data travels encrypted, and every user sees only the data of their own business.
- All traffic is encrypted with TLS; the application is reachable over HTTPS only.
- Access is role-based. Every query is scoped to the laboratory or clinic the user belongs to; data belonging to different businesses is kept apart.
- Passwords are stored in a non-reversible form and cannot be seen by staff.
- Photos uploaded from the mobile app are re-encoded before they reach the server and EXIF data is dropped, so the location where a photo was taken is not transmitted.
- The database and uploaded files are backed up automatically every night.
- No third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software is used, the advertising identifier is never read, and data is never sold.
8. Our approach to data protection (KVKK)
Patient names in order records and intraoral photos attached to orders are special-category personal data under article 6 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698). This data is entered not by the patient but by the clinic or laboratory carrying out the treatment; the obligation to inform the patient and obtain consent rests with the party entering the data.
In this relationship LabNora acts as data processor, while the clinic or laboratory entering the data is the data controller. For the account and contact details of our own users, LabNora is the data controller. How this split is reflected in the contract texts will be finalized with legal counsel.
The membership agreement, the data processing agreement and the privacy notices are accepted inside the application. A user can close their own account from within the application; order and financial records, which constitute commercial and medical records, remain in the laboratory's records for the retention periods required by law.
A detailed explanation of what data is processed and why is available on the Privacy Policy page. Requests under article 11 of KVKK can be sent to info@labnora.com.
Registration with the Turkish data controllers' registry (VERBIS): - whether the registration obligation arises will be assessed.
